The Actor
She watched the drama from a distance.
He watched her appear to have an interest in something.
She stood motionless.
He said nothing.
She watched the deer cross from one field to another.
He watched her stand motionless.
She looked back and smiled, “I should be a hunter, the deer have no fear of me!”
He laughed, “The deer could not see you my dear, because you stood so perfectly motionless.”
She said, “So you think I’m perfect?”
He said, “Of course, when standing perfectly still.”
She said, “The hunter must become invisible.”
He said, “I can see you standing right in front of me on the hiking trail, but I was impressed with your acting.”
